Grognok

Grognok building a level map in Destiny
Grognock is the name of the development tool used to build the world of Destiny. It is a collaborative tool used by Bungie in order to create maps and locations.

Jow Slaten has described Grognock as "innovative world-building software allowing a large team of engineers, environment artists, modelers, and creative designers to work on a world at the same time."

The name of the engine was trademarked back in 2009 and was vaguely described as "Computer programs for editing images, sound and video; Computer software development tools." During the GDC 2013 panel, footage of Grognok in action where shown building a base on the Moon.[1][2]
